Pedal & Scoot for you

Reception Children from St Marks School l;earning to ride their bikes.

Learn to ride a bike!  For all ages – it’s never too late.

No matter how old the learner is, there’s never any rush to pedal straight away! We take it at your own pace and make sure nothing is too scary or embarrassing.   I aim for smiles – I want people to enjoy cycling, not feel threatened by it. I recognise that it takes courage to learn to cycle, particularly for adults. (Oh, and I won’t turn up wearing intimidating lycra!)

These individual lessons are delivered in the Lancaster area. We’ll meet somewhere convenient for you, for example Williamsons or Ryelands Park, or somewhere else with traffic-free paths.

Sessions are suitable for people learning for the first time; or for those who want to brush up on their skills, either in a park or out on the roads.

Find out how some young people got on with their cycling lessons.

Just give me a call and we can have a chat about how I can help you or your child to get pedalling!

The big wide world

"The great majority of us first learn to ride as a child, the bicycle a type of 'transitional object', taking us away to really explore the bigger world for the first time out of the sight of our parents, our first real taste of independence and freedom. It's the symbolic moment when horizons broaden, possibilities open up; you are moving under your own power, controlling where you want to go."

– Mike Carter 'One Man and His Bike'
